Blast from the Past Moment: May 6-12
This is Debi Thomas’ performance at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. As most of us know, this was part 2 of the Battle of the Carmens. Part 1 was Katarina Witt’s interpretation. I can’t really say I have a favorite because they were both so different. But Debi wasn’t able to keep her nerves under control and it cost her the gold medal.
